Day 5 - Week of Giving - Share your Time

Today is our last day of the Week of Giving.  If you missed the posts from earlier this week, go read them :)  And find some inspiration on ways that you can give back this Christmas season.

Today, I want to inspire you to give your time to someone.  Time is one of our most valuable resources this season.  We are rushing to get everything done and there's never enough time in the day.  What better way to show someone you care than to give your time?

Here's some ideas on who to give your time to.

Your Grandparents or Great Grandparents - Start at home.  These are people that you love that you likely don't get to spend enough time with.  I know that I don't spend near enough time with our grandparents (and we are blessed to have 3 grandmas and 1 grandpa still living).

A Soup Kitchen - soup kitchens are ALWAYS looking for helping hands to serve food or help out in some way.  If you have one in your area, I KNOW that they would be happy to have your help

A Hospital or Nursing Home - Whether you visit the old or the young, your time would be very appreciated.  So many people in nursing homes or with long term hospital stays would probably just like someone to talk to.  Or if you visit a Children's Hospital, how fun would it be to take supplies to make some Christmas Cards or Ornaments with them?

Anyone do this?  Comment and let us know!

Any other suggestions on where you can give your time?
