Pumpkin Carving Tip!

Going back quite a few years ago, Matt and I carved pumpkins.  We had some super detailed, intricately designed pumpkins.  They were awesome!

About a week later...they were completly collapsed and dried out.

Now we know to use Vaseline on the cut lines.  Since we didn't have any Vaseline, I used vegetable oil on the Layne's.  But leave it to my hubby to one up me! {He's so smart!}

He had the brilliant idea to use vegetable oil spray!  Genius! You don't get it all over your hands and it is super easy to spray into little detailed cuts!

And our pumpkins?  We carved them 2 weeks ago, and they are looking good as ever!
