Driving home today it was late afternoon. The kids fell asleep in the backseat and my hubby dozed off in the front. As I was driving, I couldn't help but look at my three loves and realize how blessed I am. I met my husband at the age of 14 and we fell in love. God has blessed us with two beautiful, healthy babies. We both have jobs, food on our table, and a roof over our heads.
Sure, we have our fair share of troubles and worries, but I couldn't be more thankful for what I've been given. It really just hit me. Wow! God is good! And I took a minute to thank him.
We also visited my brand new nephew, Landon. This sweet boy was born three weeks ago and I just can't get enough of him. And neither can my kids :)My sister asked me to take some pictures of him, and of course, I said yes. (I will say right now, that I am no photographer, but I am learning). Here's a few of him. Don't you just want to kiss his little neck?!
My sister and her husband sure make cute kids! He was so good when we were there. He barely made a peep. And like any man, he was just happy to take his clothes off and be naked.
And one with his big sister Emma. She can't walk past him without touching and talking sweet to him.
After naps and supper, we went out to play. I'm loving that it's staying light so late! (And the kids are too!)We're trading in dark evenings for more daylight. Winter coats for short sleeves and capris. Clean faces for dirt under our fingernails and mud on our shoes. And 7:30 bedtimes for 9:00 bedtimes. Life is good. God is good.
Love and Blessings!
